What is an Amazon label cropper?

An Amazon label cropper turns the shipping label PDF from Amazon Seller Central into labels you can print on a 4 x 6 inch thermal label printer. Seller Central gives you an A4-sized PDF where every order has two pages — the shipping label and the order's tax invoice. Printing that as it is wastes paper and doesn't fit thermal label rolls.

How to crop Amazon shipping labels

Download your label PDF from Amazon Seller Central with the invoices included.

Choose your options: tick or untick "Print SKU ID", and pick "Remove Invoice" or "Keep Invoice".

How the labels and SKUs are detected

Invoice or label: pages headed "Tax Invoice" are treated as invoices; every other page is a shipping label. Each label is matched with the invoice page(s) next to it, whether the label comes first or second, and even when an invoice runs over two pages.
Cropping: the shipping label is cut out of its page and fitted onto a 4 x 6 inch page without being re-drawn as a new image, so the barcodes keep their original print quality.
Sorting: orders are arranged by number of different SKUs (most first), then by total quantity (highest first), then by SKU from A to Z. Orders whose SKU can't be read go last.
SKU: the SKU is read from the invoice's item table, where Amazon prints it in brackets after the ASIN, and printed with the quantity just under the Seller / GSTIN / Invoice table on the label. Orders with several items get one line per item.

Are your label PDFs safe?

Your PDFs are not uploaded to Storerivo's server. They are read and cropped by your own browser, so customer names, addresses and order details stay on your device. The latest cropped PDF is kept in your browser's cache so the preview can show it with the right file name, and it is replaced the next time you crop labels. See our privacy page for details.

Limitations and common problems

It is built for Amazon Seller Central (Easy Ship) label PDFs. FBA box or product labels and other marketplaces' labels are not supported — for Flipkart, use the Flipkart Label Cropper.
Upload the original PDF from Seller Central. Scanned copies, or PDFs re-saved as images, have no readable text, so labels and invoices can't be told apart.
SKUs are only printed when the invoice pages are in the uploaded file. Characters outside the basic Latin set (such as emoji or Hindi text) are left out of the printed SKU.
The preview inside the page needs a browser with a built-in PDF viewer. On most phones, use Print or Download instead.
Processing time depends on your device and the number of pages, since all the work happens in your browser.

Can I crop many Amazon labels at once?

Yes. One PDF can contain any number of orders, and you can select several PDFs together — every label from every file is placed in a single output PDF.

How does the tool find the SKU for each label?

It reads the item table on the order's invoice page, where Amazon prints the SKU in brackets after the ASIN — for example "| B0GL3K34GH ( ESY_AC-KSH-ANTIQUE-LONG-ER-WHITE )". It then prints the SKU and quantity of every item just below the table on the shipping label. The invoice pages must be in the uploaded PDF for this to work, even if you choose to remove them from the output.

In what order are the cropped labels arranged?

Labels are sorted to make packing easier. Orders with several different SKUs come first, then orders with a higher total quantity, and then orders are arranged by SKU from A to Z, so identical products are grouped together. Orders whose SKU cannot be read are placed at the end.

Can I remove the invoices from the Amazon label PDF?

Yes. Choose "Remove Invoice" to get only the cropped labels. Choose "Keep Invoice" to place each order's invoice, scaled to 4 x 6 inches, right after its label.

Are my label PDFs uploaded or stored?

Your PDFs are not uploaded to Storerivo's server — they are read and cropped by your browser on your device. To show the preview with the correct file name, the latest result is kept in your browser's cache on your device and is replaced the next time you crop labels.

How do I print the cropped labels on a thermal printer?

Click "Print" under the preview (or open the downloaded PDF) and, in the print dialog, select your thermal printer, choose 4 x 6 inch (100 x 150 mm) paper and print at actual size (100% scale) so the barcode is not resized.

Why does a label say "SKU not found" or show no SKU?

The tool needs the order's invoice page in the uploaded file to read the SKU. "SKU not found" means the invoice was there but its item row had no SKU in the usual "ASIN ( SKU )" format. If the PDF has no invoice pages, no SKU is printed. Upload the original PDF from Seller Central: scanned or printed-to-image copies have no readable text, so their pages cannot be told apart or read.
